Dr. Claudia Rangel graduated from the Federal University of Brazil with advanced training in Orthodontics and ranked among the top graduates on her National Orthodontic Board exams. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, taught in the university’s Orthodontics Department for five years, and completed an invited academic visit with the UCLA Orthodontic Department. After immigrating to Canada in 1986, she continued advanced training in Brazil and Canada before establishing her permanent practice in Vancouver in 1994 and founding Sorriso Dental Clinic in 1996. Today, she provides general dentistry with a strong orthodontic focus in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Dr. Mindy Lim completed her dental education at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2013 and the Dean’s Award for Academic and Clinical Excellence. She then completed an intensive Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at CWRU and University Hospitals, where she treated complex, diverse cases with a focus on comprehensive treatment planning, full-mouth reconstruction, and surgical implant placement. She provides care in English and Korean.

Dr. Karina Romero earned her DDS in 2004 from Federico Villarreal University in Lima, Peru, and began her career in private practice while serving remote Andean communities. She later completed a Master of Public Health at the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam on a full scholarship, where she published oral-health research. Certified to practise in Canada since 2018, she focuses on preventive and restorative dentistry and provides care in English and Spanish.
